Loch Slapin is an open sea loch that runs up the eastern side of the Strathaird Peninsula on the Isle of Skye. On the shores of the loch are the small villages of Torrin and Kirkibost as well as Strathaird hamlet. The B8083 runs around the loch linking Broadford to the north with Elgol to the southwest. An excellent place to see the layout of the loch and the surrounding hills is from the top of Cnoc Slapin near Torrin.
